This contribution supports Tseshaht First Nation’s Beach Keeper program and operations in their hahuułii (ancestral homelands). The Beach Keepers are responsible for welcoming campers, providing orientation, interpretive programs that educate visitors about Tseshaht culture and history and about the Parks natural features. The Beach Keepers also ensures maintenance of campsites, permit checks and assist Parks Canada staff in visitor safety incidents.
