This project aims to improve the health status of women, men, girls and boys in Benin, particularly in its northern departments. Project activities include: (1) Training health care providers (in facilities and community based) on SRHR, GBV, gender equality, one health and community performance cards; (2) establishing and supporting community solidarity mechanisms, including women village savings and loan associations, to increase vulnerable people, especially women and girls, access to health care; (3) piloting a decentralized training and simulation centre in different health centers; (4) Providing technical support to partner universities to develop e-learning modules; (5) Providing technical support and training to Government of Benin on equality, diversity and inclusion as well as gender equality and environment. The main project beneficiaries would be 128,766 direct beneficiaries (66,066 women and 62,700 men) and 2,901,118 indirect beneficiaries.
