About this program

This grant supports Nuu-chah-nulth cultural protocol for meetings with First Nations’ Ha’wiih (Hereditary Chiefs), appropriate leadership, decision-makers, and advisors to discuss the work that is being done in their ḥaḥuułi. These meetings will be held in regard to the Broken Group Islands Management Planning process, to ensure proper cultural protocol are followed and build strong relationships with Nations based on a commitment to reconciliation.
