The purpose of this Agreement is to set out the terms and conditions under which Canada will contribute funding to New Brunswick in accordance with the Firearms Funding Program for “Opt-in” Provinces. Contributions are to cover the administrative costs actually incurred by New Brunswick in relation to the performance of its duties and responsibilities relating to the administration of the Firearms Act.
