Through this 17-month project, Qchat Support Association will build the capacity of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations and networks to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. It will collect, review, and analyze new and existing information on British Columbia’s 2SLGBTQI+ youth peer support and referral landscape to better understand the gaps, barriers, and best practices in serving 2SLGBTQI+ youth in British Columbia. The project will include expanding capacity of Qchat Support Association through more robust volunteer training and education, and board development including governance and long-term financial sustainability, not-for-profit finance management and grant proposal writing. Supplemental funds will be used to support the human resources for this project.
